Fighters of the separate assault regiment Skelia [Rock - ed.] conducted a successful operation in the village of Yehorivka in the Oleksandrivsk Axis, destroying a russian sabotage and reconnaissance group.
This was reported by the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the regiment, a large group of russian soldiers entered the village.
"The assault groups of the Skelia regiment went on a clearing. The russians sat in their huts until the last and did not reveal themselves, even when they saw our soldiers nearby," the fighters emphasized.
The Ukrainian military showed footage of the assault, during which the occupiers were surrounded, fired at with grenades and grenade launchers, and "cleaned up close." As a result, dozens of russians were destroyed in the village and on its outskirts.
Skelia repelled all attempts by the enemy to break through the encirclement. Now Yehorivka is completely liberated, and the Ukrainian flag has been raised there.
We will remind you that in the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region, the enemy has accumulated about 200 servicemen - there are ongoing shooting battles in the city and UAV units are operating. The aggressor's attempts to advance and gain a foothold are stopped by conducting counter-sabotage measures.
