The company DTEK announced that on Sunday, October 26, from 09:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., stabilization power outages will be in effect in Ukraine.
The reason is the order of NPC Ukrenergo, which regulates the load on the power system.
"By order of NPC Ukrenergo, stabilization blackouts will be in effect from 09:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on October 26," the company said.
DTEK urged Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly to prevent emergency blackouts.
"Please consume electricity reasonably - this will help reduce the load on the grid and avoid emergency blackouts," the power engineers emphasized.
The company thanked the customers for their understanding and support during a difficult period for the country's power system.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 8, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said, that the fixed price for natural gas for households and budgetary institutions remains unchanged until March 31, 2026.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that Kyiv will start the heating season for social institutions on October 3. Regarding the start of the heating season in residential buildings, Klitschko noted that all factors should be taken into account: rational use of energy, inexpediency of unnecessary heat costs by residents, as well as the situation in the energy system; not only current but also forecasted temperature indicators should be taken into account to save both the city residents' money and energy resources.
