The russian propaganda agency TASS published several messages claiming that the occupation army had landed in Kherson. They were deleted a few hours later.
The Insider drew attention to this.
Last Wednesday, October 22, within 10 minutes, russian propagandists published messages with the following headlines:
- TASS: The russian Armed Forces successfully landed on the Quarantine Island in Kherson, immediately managed to take control of key facilities - commander.
- TASS: The russian Armed Forces repelled all attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to counterattack on the Quarantine Island in Kherson, the enemy suffered heavy losses - commander.
- TASS: Successes on the Quarantine Island in Kherson open up opportunities for control over the western part of the city - commander.
Yesterday, October 23, TASS reported that it had canceled the above-mentioned reports due to the withdrawal of information by the russian Ministry of Defense.

Also yesterday, the spokesman for the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Vladyslav Voloshyn, published a video made on Quarantine Island. He refuted the occupiers' statements and even performed the song "Gold of the Carpathians".
At the same time, the analytical project DeepState believes that the media activity of the russians around Quarantine Island may be related to the preparation of a potential landing attempt elsewhere.
Quarantine Island is an island in the western part of Kherson, on which the Korabel neighbourhood and a number of industrial enterprises are located. The island is separated from the rest of the city by the Koshova Strait.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in late September it became known that the russian army was shelling Kherson with North Korean cluster shells.
Shortly before this, the police reported that the russians were hitting Kherson with artillery shells, which scattered anti-personnel mines over the city.
We will remind, back in August of this year, the authorities of the Kherson Region reported that the occupiers were shelling the bridges connecting the Korabel neighbourhood with the rest of Kherson.
