PrivatBank increased its profit by 4.5% to UAH 50.6 billion in 9 months of this year compared to the same period last year (UAH 48.4 billion).
This is announced in the bank's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"For 9 months of operation, PrivatBank reports UAH 50.6 billion of net profit after deducting 25% income tax. Business result without revaluations, provisions for credit risks and taxes reached UAH 62.6 billion, an increase of 15% compared to the same period in 2024," the bank reported.
PrivatBank ranks first in the market in terms of profitability, generating more than 43.5% of the banking sector's profit before tax.
Since the beginning of the year, the bank's net loan portfolio has grown by UAH 30 billion (+27%), reaching UAH 143 billion as of September 30, 2025.
PrivatBank ranks first in Ukraine in terms of loan portfolio volume, which covers almost 15% of the market.
At the same time, the market share of individual loans is almost 35%.
During 9 months of 2025, funds in the accounts of individual clients increased by UAH 59 billion in equivalent (+13%), reaching UAH 505 billion.
With a market share of 22.9%, PrivatBank is also the leader in terms of deposits of both legal entities and individuals.
The basis of the bank's financial result is net interest (+19%) and commission (+5%) income compared to 9 months of 2024.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2024, PrivatBank increased its profit by 6% to UAH 40.1 billion.
100% of PrivatBank is owned by the state, represented by the Ministry of Finance.
