From now on, it is possible to apply for a transfer between the National Guard and the Armed Forces through the Army+ application. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko announced this on Thursday, October 23.
The government has simplified the procedure for changing the place of service, which should be quick and transparent, Klymenko said. According to him, the transfer between the National Guard and the Armed Forces is now online.
"The commander must give an answer within 48 hours: yes or no. No answer? The transfer is approved automatically. Then there is a check by the personnel service (up to 7 days), and a maximum of 30 days before the transfer order is issued," the Interior Minister said.
The report is submitted in the section "Change of place of service". The application must be accompanied by a copy of the military ID card/official ID card/ service ID card of the National Guard of Ukraine and a letter of recommendation from the unit to which the transfer is planned.
A transfer from combat units to the rear is possible only upon the conclusion of the military medical commission (MMC), if the current position does not correspond to the state of health.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 23, the Defense Ministry explained how to properly draw up a report for changing the place of service.
On September 12, a new course on digital document management in the army was launched in the Army+ app.
As a reminder, you can now find out in Army+ whether the military is allowed to transfer to another unit.
