Due to the threat of an air strike in the Sumy Region and problems with tension in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv Regions, the movement of a number of trains in Ukraine has been hampered, and suburban routes may be changed. It was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Rolling stock and railway infrastructure in the Sumy Region were damaged by shelling.

"The situation in the Sumy direction: due to the threat of an air strike, the movement of a number of trains is hampered. The shelling damaged rolling stock and railway infrastructure. Two employees of the locomotive crew were hospitalized for examination," the statement said.

Trains No. 144 Rakhiv - Sumy and No. 787 Tereshchenska - Kyiv have been suspended until the security situation improves. The delay time will be announced later.

Suburban train No. 6888 Sumy - Lebedynska is delayed for departure for an indefinite period of time. Traffic will be resumed as soon as the situation allows.

Changes have been made to the suburban routes: train No. 6012 will run on the route Sumy - Trostianets-Smorodyne (instead of Vorozhba - Trostianets-Smorodyne).

The region uses a combined traffic: bus + train. Due to the lack of voltage, a number of suburban flights will run with delays.

In the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv Regions, due to the increased danger and lack of power in certain areas, suburban routes may be changed and delays of up to 1.5 hours are possible.
