On October 22, McDonald's opened its 50th restaurant in Kyiv, namely a new restaurant next to the main entrance to the Kyiv Zoo at 32 Beresteisky Avenue, 2H.
The company's press service has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that this is the 117th operating establishment of the chain out of 132 that exist in Ukraine.
Ordering in the new restaurant is fast and contactless with the help of 12 self-service terminals.
The new restaurant has an area of over 550 m², a spacious hall designed for 146 seats and a cozy terrace for 80.
You can place an order in the new establishment quickly and contactlessly using 12 self-service terminals.
The restaurant will be open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and the McDeliivery delivery service will start working a few days after the opening on a schedule from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.
It is noted that, like all McDonald's restaurants in Ukraine, the new restaurant will operate under enhanced security standards.
During an air raid, the restaurant closes so that employees and visitors can go to the nearest shelter and resumes operations within an hour after the alarm is lifted.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in mid-June, McDonald's announced that it does not plan to close fast food restaurants in any city, including Dnipro and Chernihiv.
On February 24, 2022, McDonald's closed all its restaurants in Ukraine.
On August 11, 2022, former Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba announced that some McDonald's restaurants would resume operations in Ukraine.
On September 20, 2022, the first three McDonald's restaurants reopened.
McDonald's in Ukraine is a leader among fast food restaurants.
The first restaurant was opened on May 24, 1997 in Kyiv.
