Russia has handed over to the United States an unofficial document with its own conditions for ending the war against Ukraine. In it, Moscow essentially repeated its previous demands.
This was reported by Reuters, citing sources.
The Kremlin insists that Ukraine hand over the entire territory of the Donetsk Region to the occupiers. The document also states that NATO troops should not be deployed in Ukraine even in the event of a peace agreement.
Such proposals contradict the initiative of US President Donald Trump, who calls for a "freeze" of the war along the current front line. However, according to the agency, the head of the White House still considers this option realistic.
A White House representative clarified that there are currently no plans for a meeting between Trump and vladimir putin "in the near future."
Recall, the American publication The Washington Post wrote that during his last phone conversation with Trump, putin allegedly hinted that he was ready to give up part of the occupied territories if russia was given the entire Donetsk Region.
