Occupiers hit kindergarten in Kharkiv, man killed - mayor

Russian terrorists struck a kindergarten in Kharkiv. Initially, the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, reported wounded children, but later clarified that the information was not confirmed. It is currently known that a man was killed as a result of the strike.

"A private kindergarten in the Kholodnohirskyi district was hit, there are wounded children. There is a fire at the scene of the strike," he wrote.

Later, Terekhov added that all children were evacuated from the kindergarten. The fire is ongoing.

Updated: October 22, 2025, 11:32 Am. Four people are known to have been injured, one of them unconscious in intensive care.

Let us recall that six people were killed in the russian night attack on Ukraine, including two children. At least 17 were injured.

The city of Kyiv, the Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Cherkasy and Sumy Regions were affected.
