Russian UAV strikes street in Sumy. Nine people injured

The army of the aggressor country russia attacked Sumy with an attack drone on the evening of October 21. At least nine people were injured as a result of the hit.

The acting mayor of Sumy Artem Kobzar and the head of the Sumy City Military Administration Serhii Kryvosheenko reported this.

Kobzar published a video in which he said that around 16:30 a strike by an Italmash drone on a roadway on one of the city's streets was recorded.

"As a result of the strike, more than ten cars were damaged, and windows in apartment buildings were smashed. Nine people are currently known to be wounded," Kobzar said.

According to him, tomorrow, October 22, at about 9 a.m., a mobile headquarters will start working, where everyone who needs help can turn to.

Kryvosheenko also said about nine victims. All of them were hospitalized, and doctors assess their condition as stable.

He also published several photos taken at the site of the occupiers' UAV strike.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, a few hours ago, the occupying army massively shelled Novhorod-Siverskyi in the Chernihiv Region. The city was attacked by drones, about 20 hits were recorded.

On the night of October 20-21, the occupiers launched 51 air targets at the Chernihiv Region. The invaders attacked a heat supply facility and a power facility in two communities.
