As of October 21, farmers in 13 regions have completed sowing winter rapeseed

As of October 21, 2025, Ukrainian farmers sowed 4,833,900 hectares of winter crops.

This is said in a report by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the Ukrainian News reports.

The report says that this is 74.0% of the projected area.

In particular, winter wheat was sown on 3,443,600 hectares; winter barley - 300,300 hectares and winter rye - 60,000 hectares.

The Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad Regions are among the leaders in grain crops sowing.

The Poltava and Ternopil Regions have completed sowing.

1,030,000 hectares of winter rapeseed have been sown.

Most of all - in the Vinnytsia, Odesa and Khmelnytsky Regions.

Currently, farmers in 13 regions have completed sowing winter rapeseed.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as of October 14, 2025, Ukrainian farmers sowed 4.08 million hectares of winter crops, which is 14.1% less than last year (as of October 15, 2024 - 4.75 million hectares).
