On the night of October 20, the army of the aggressor state of russia again attacked the logistics infrastructure of Ukraine - the railways, in particular the traction substation of Ukrzaliznytsia, as well as port facilities, were attacked.

Oleksii Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, has announced this.

So, in the Chernihiv Region, the enemy hit a traction substation of Ukrzaliznytsia. At night, the railway power engineers began to repair the damage, but the enemy sent a UAV to the site of the repair work. It is noted that thanks to the monitoring system, the workers were taken to a safe place in time - there were no injuries. Train traffic is safe, and backup diesel locomotives are in operation.

The russians also attacked the port infrastructure, damaging some facilities and premises. The fires were quickly localized. The port workers were in shelters, and there were no injuries. At the moment, a number of ports are not accepting trains, they are scattered across the network and will leave when ready.

"Russia is targeting our transportation arteries - the things that connect the country, support the economy and provide life. But even under shelling, the system is working, we continue to restore it," Kuleba emphasized.
