Ukrainian farmers have harvested almost 35 million tons of grains and legumes and more than 13 million tons of oilseeds.

The report says that as of October 17, 2025, Ukraine has already harvested 34,748,800 tons of grain crops on an area of 7,979,100 hectares.
69% of the areas sown with these crops have been threshed.
In particular: wheat - 22,782,400 tons on the area of 5,049,800 hectares; barley - 5,357,200 tons on the area of 1,350,500 hectares; peas - 658,300 tons on the area of 271,100 hectares; corn - 4,912,500 tons on the area of 895,200 hectares, which is 15% of the sown area.
Among the leaders, in particular: Odesa Region - 3,779,100 tons from the area of 1,134,500 hectares; Poltava Region - 2,661,000 tons from the area of 564,200 hectares; Khmelnytskyi Region - 2,476,900 tons from the area of 356,900 hectares, and Vinnytsia Region - 2,447,600 tons from the area of 440,100 hectares.
The harvest of wheat, barley, and peas is complete.
Oilseeds harvested as of October 17, 2025 amounted to 13,588.2 million tons.
In particular: sunflower - 7,193,900 tons on the area of 3,913,200 hectares; soybeans - 3,080,200 tons on the area of 1,342,250 hectares, and rapeseed - 3,314,000 tons on the area of 1,275,600 hectares.
In general, sunflower was harvested from 76% of the planted areas, soybeans - 62%, rapeseed harvesting is completed.
Sugar beet has already been dug up to 4,716,800 tons on an area of 90,000 hectares, which is 45% of the sown area.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as of October 10, 2025, Ukraine has already harvested 33,032,300 tons of grain crops on an area of 7,673,900 hectares.
For 2025, farmers planned to sow more than 5.7 million hectares of spring grains and legumes, which is the same as in 2024
The main feature of the new season was the increase in the area under spring wheat to 227,500 hectares.
