Russian Lieutenant Vasily Marzoev, the son of the commander of the 18th Combined Arms Army of the russian federation, General Arkady Marzoev, was killed in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia Region. This was reported by Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazanskyi.
"They hit somewhere well in the Zaporizhzhia Region. The son of the commander of the 18th Combined Arms Army of the russian federation, General Arkady Marzoev, Lieutenant Vasily Marzoev, was destroyed," Kazanskyi wrote and added several screenshots of posts from russian public forums confirming the fact of the elimination of the occupier.
According to available information, Marzoev was among the occupation forces in this region. He was the commander of the reconnaissance platoon of the 108th Parachute Regiment of the 7th Airborne Assault Division of the army of the occupation country. The circumstances of his death are currently unknown, but it is possible that he came under fire and was mortally wounded.
As previously reported, in the Zaporizhzhia Region, russian propagandist Ivan Zuev was killed and his colleague Yuri Voitkevich was seriously injured in a drone strike. The propagandists were traveling as part of a group of russian occupiers.
