On the night of October 18 (from 07:00 pm on October 17), the russians attacked Ukraine, using three S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 164 Shahed, Gerbera attack UAVs and drones of other types.

The aggressors launched missiles from the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation, drones from the following directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Oryol and Primorsko-Akhtarsk - the russian federation. About a hundred of the drones used were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 am, air defenses neutralized 136 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones in the north, south, east and center of the country.
27 strike UAVs hit 12 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (fragments) at four locations.
"The attack continues, there are several enemy UAVs in the airspace. The Air Force calls for compliance with safety regulations," the military statement said.
