AFU confirm they hit a number of facilities in Crimea overnight, including oil depot in Hvardiiske

On the night of October 17, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the oil depot in Hvardiiske and the Federal State Treasury Institution of the Hvardiiskyi plant in the temporarily occupied Crimea with attack drones.

It was reported by the Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

"On the night of October 17, units of the Special Operations Forces struck a number of enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea with attack drones," the statement said.

It is noted that the result of successful actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is the destruction of the oil depot in the settlements of Hvardiiske and the Federal State Treasury Institution of the Hvardiiskyi Combine in the village of Karyerne, Saky District.

"Special Operations Forces continue to carry out asymmetric actions to stop the enemy," the Special Operations Forces emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the morning it became known that in the occupied Crimea, drones attacked the village of Hvardiiske, causing a fire at the oil depot. According to preliminary information, the ammunition depot was also hit.
