This year, Ukrainians most often declare foreign income and inheritance, with foreign income amounting to UAH 36 billion since the beginning of the year, and income from inheritance or donation of property - UAH 15.9 billion.
Acting head of the State Tax Service Lesia Karnaukh has announced this on her Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Also, the largest amounts of money citizens declared came from:
- sale of movable or immovable property - UAH 7.5 billion,
- investment income – UAH 6.1 billion,
- other taxable income – UAH 4.8 billion,
- income from renting out property – UAH 3.7 billion.
Over 9 months, citizens filed more than 226,000 declarations on property status and income.
A record amount of more than UAH 2 billion in personal income tax and military levy was determined to be payable by a resident of Kyiv.
As the Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the State Tax Service reported that the number of millionaires who declared income for 2024 increased by more than 60% or 6,600 people to 17,000.
