On the night of Thursday, October 16, the aggressor country of russia once again attacked DTEK Naftogaz's energy infrastructure with drones and missiles.
This was reported by the DTEK press service on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"As a result of the attack, the work of gas production facilities in the Poltava Region was stopped," the message says.
The head of the Opishnia community, Mykola Riznyk, said in a video message that there is gas in the Chovno-Federske and Batkivskyi starostats; in Opishnia, Mali Budishcha and Hlynsk - there is none yet.
"Russia wants to leave us without gas. I want to appeal to the residents, please turn off all your gas appliances. When gas appears, we will inform you, then you will open it," he said in a video message.
Schools and kindergartens are operating as usual, but the heating season will not start today, Riznyk added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, two Kyiv CHPP were shut down after a massive russian strike on October 10.
