Ukrainian troops have regained control of the village of Mali Shcherbaky in the Zaporizhzhia sector, and the Ukrainian flag is now flying there.

The Aidar 24th separate assault battalion has reported this.

Ukrainian flag in Mali Shcherbaky was raised by the units of the Aidar 24th separate assault battalion together with their colleagues from the 33rd separate assault regiment.

"This success is the result of clear interaction, determination and coordinated work of the units. Each step like this is another page in our struggle that continues every day, despite fatigue, risks and losses. We continue to fight for every meter of Ukrainian land. And we will definitely win," the statement reads.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed video of the liberation of Sichneve village in the Dnipropetrovsk Region.
