On the morning of October 11, long-range drones of the SSU Special Operations Center "A" hit the Bashneft-UNPZ oil refinery in the russian city of Ufa in the Republic of Bashkortostan, which is 1400 kilometers from Ukraine.
It was reported by a source in the SSU.
According to the source, after the explosions, fire trucks arrived at the refinery, and a column of smoke rose above the plant.
According to preliminary information, after the strike, a fire broke out in the area of the ELOU-AVT-6 crude oil refinery.
The source emphasizes that this is the third strike in Bashkortostan in the last 30 days, and adds that Ufa provides fuel to the enemy's armed forces.
"This is the third deep strike by the SSU in Bashkortostan in the last month - 1,400 kilometers from Ukraine. Such strikes demonstrate that there are no safe places in the deep rear of the Russian Federation. The SSU can reach any facilities on enemy territory that are working for war against Ukraine," an informed source in the SSU said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in September, SSU drones struck one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical plants in Bashkortostan - Gazprom Naftokhim Salavat.
A severe fire was recorded on the territory of the plant.
