In September 2025, consumer prices increased by 0.3%.
The State Statistics Service has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In particular, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages in September decreased by 0.8%, for clothing and footwear - increased by 8.2%, for housing and communal services - increased by 0.2%, for healthcare services - increased by 0.8%, for education - increased by 12.4%.
Compared to September 2024, consumer prices increased by 11.9% in September 2025.
In September 2025, the core consumer price index increased by 1.3%
Compared to September 2024, in September 2025, the core consumer price index increased by 11.0%.
In January-September 2025, the core consumer price index increased by 6.9%.
Core inflation is a sub-index of the consumer price index.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in August, deflation was 0.2%, core inflation was 0.5%.
In 2024, inflation was recorded at 12.0%, in 2023 - 5.1%, in 2022 - 26.6%, in 2021 - 10.0%, in 2020 - 5.0%
In 2024, core inflation was 10.7%.
The state budget for 2025 envisages an increase in consumer prices (December to December of the previous year) of 9.5%.
