The Verkhovna Rada has supported in the first reading draft law No. 12349, which provides for the creation of the Cyber Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. MP Oleksii Honcharenko announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the Cyber Forces will be part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will fulfill the tasks defined by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine in cyberspace.
"It is proposed to create the Cyber Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a military command and control body that will be able to involve a civilian component (cyber reservists) for the period of relevant cyber deterrence measures," the MP wrote.
Recall that the Rada approved the deployment of the Armed Forces units to Turkey and the UK, where Ukrainian ships are deployed.
