Russian occupation troops have advanced near several settlements in the Zaporizhzhia and Sumy Regions.
According to the DeepState analytical project, published on Wednesday, October 8, the russian army was able to advance in Poltavka, Zaporizhzhia Region, and near five more settlements.


"The enemy advanced near Novomykolaivka, Novoivanivka, Okhotnyche, Malynivka, Vyshneve, and in Poltavka," the analysts said in a statement.


In addition, in the Sumy Region, russian troops have achieved success in the Novomykolaivka area of the Sumy district. The relevant information is displayed on the DeepState online combat map.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 4, the DeepState analytical project stated that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have regained control over four settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk Region.
On October 3, the 23rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied russian claims about the alleged occupation of the villages of Sosnivka and Vorone in the Dnipropetrovsk Region. The military showed a video showing that the settlements are controlled by the Ukrainian army.
