Ukrainian military captured an Indian citizen who served in the russian army. the 22-year-old Majoti said he agreed to go to war to avoid a seven-year prison sentence in russia.

The 63rd separate mechanized brigade has told about this.

According to him, he studied in russia, but was imprisoned "because of drugs". He was offered to sign a contract with the russian army instead of serving his sentence.

After 16 days of short training, Majoti was sent to the front, where he spent only three days. After a quarrel with his commander, he decided to voluntarily surrender to Ukrainian soldiers.
