Russian propagandists have spread a fake about the alleged military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "hiding in residential buildings" in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).

The kremlin's media materials claim that the Ukrainian military "use residential areas as shelters" and that local residents allegedly "tell" the tussian occupiers the addresses. The Center emphasized that in this way the enemy is trying to create the illusion that russian troops are not to blame for the destruction of cities, but only "respond to the requests of the locals."

"In fact, such statements are another cynical attempt to justify Russia for daily terrorist attacks on Ukrainian cities. Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and other frontline regions regularly suffer from attacks by bombs, missiles and drones, killing civilians and destroying civilian infrastructure. the Kremlin traditionally distorts reality to shift responsibility for its own war crimes to Ukraine," the Center emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russians spread a fake on Telegram channels about the "order of the commander of military unit A7049" about the alleged outbreak of rabies among the military on the right bank of the Kherson Region.
