As of today, October 7, consumers in four regions - Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk - are without power supply due to air attacks by the aggressor state of russia. Electricity consumption is high, and there is still a need for economical consumption, especially during peak hours - from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

This is reported by Ukrenergo.

"On the eve of and already this day, Russia has once again attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure. As a result, consumers in the Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk Regions are without power in the morning," the statement said.

In addition, the situation in the Sumy Region remains difficult. And in the Chernihiv Region, the local regional power distribution company was forced to introduce hourly blackouts in the amount of two stages.

Recovery and restoration works are reported to be ongoing, but their implementation is complicated by air raids.

Meanwhile, electricity consumption remains high. As of 9:30 a.m. on October 7, it was at the same level as the previous day. The reason for this is the persistence of cloudy weather in most regions, which leads to low efficiency of household solar power plants and a corresponding increase in energy consumption from the general grid.

"There is still a need for economical electricity consumption. Please do not turn on several powerful appliances at the same time during the evening hours of peak load on the power system from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.," Ukrenergo urged.

It is also noted that the situation in the power system may change, which will be reported by regional power companies.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russian federation attacked an energy facility in the Pryluky District of the Chernihiv Region. Some subscribers in Pryluky remain without electricity due to the enemy attack. In general, hourly outage schedules will be in effect in the region on October 7.

In addition, on the night of October 7, the russian occupiers hit a locomotive depot and rolling stock in Poltava. In addition, power facilities in the city of Poltava and the city of Sumy were hit. There are blackouts due to the attack.
