Ukraine's strikes on the oil refining facilities of the aggressor country russia continue to drive up prices for automotive fuel. Since the beginning of the year, stock prices for gasoline have soared by almost half.

The russian edition of The Moscow Times writes about it.

At today's auction, a ton of Regular-92 gasoline was sold for RUB 74,200. During the day, the growth was 0.5%, and since the beginning of the year, the price has increased by more than 40%.

Premium-95 gasoline fell slightly during the day (-0.7%) and at the close of trading was sold at RUB 79,700 per ton. Despite the slight drop, the brand of this fuel has risen in price by almost 50% since the beginning of the year.

The publication writes that following the wholesale prices, gasoline is rapidly rising in price at retail. In annual terms, price growth at gas stations is above 11%. This is the longest period of double-digit fuel inflation in russia since 2011.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 30, the russian government extended the ban on gasoline exports, which will last until the end of the year.

The day before, Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service reported that russia had resumed imports of gasoline from Belarus. Moscow has not bought fuel from Minsk for almost a year.
