Today, on October 6, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Schoof arrived in Kyiv on an official visit. The main topics of discussion will be war and security, "justice" and Ukraine's European integration.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and head of the Presidential Office Andrii Yermak reported this.

"Together with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Schoof, we honored the memory of the fallen Ukrainian defenders. With gratitude, we cherish the memory of all those who defended our freedom and their feat. May the memory of the Ukrainian defenders of Ukraine who died fighting for Ukraine's independence be eternal. Eternal gratitude to each and every one of them," Zelenskyy said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Yermak said that Ukraine was looking forward to Schoof's visit.

"There are many topics to discuss: war, security, justice and the strength of our nations. Also, Ukraine's European integration, NATO's resilience in the face of Russian provocations. The world order must be returned to clear rules. And Mr. Schoff, who in his youth was a referee in the Hague Football Union, knows this very well," said the head of the Presidential Office.

He also quoted Schoff's words, which he called "strong":

"We support Ukraine in its struggle to remove the Russian flag from its territory. To help Ukraine win, to achieve a just and lasting peace. And to ensure that those who started this war will be brought to justice."

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in August, the first package of American military equipment for Ukraine was approved under the new NATO initiative "Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List" (PURL). It was financed in full by the Netherlands.

It was also decided that three hundred Dutch soldiers will be redeployed to Poland with two Patriot systems to protect the delivery of military equipment to Ukraine from attacks by the aggressor country russia.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands is facing a critical situation with the shelter of refugees from Ukraine. More than 97,000 municipal centers are almost all overcrowded.
