The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi announced the stabilization of the situation in the area of the village of Yampil in the Donetsk Region.
General Syrskyi reported this on his official Facebook page.
"I worked in military command bodies and military units operating in the Dobropillia, Siversk and Lyman Axes.
Regarding the latter: the situation in the area of the Yampil settlement has stabilized. Units of the Special Operations Forces, units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine are conducting strike and search operations in the village to identify and destroy the remnants of enemy sabotage groups," the military commander noted.
In the Dobropillia Axis, according to Syrskyi, the Defense Forces are increasing the effectiveness of hitting enemy accumulation points and destroying their logistics.
The total losses of the invaders per day here are 47 people, of which 32 are irretrievable. Since the beginning of the counteroffensive operation in the Dobropillia Axis, the russians have lost about 3,520 people, of which 1,988 were killed. 991 units of enemy weapons and military equipment were also hit or destroyed.
The Commander-in-Chief also reported that together with the commanders on the ground he analyzed the details of the operational situation and proposals for increasing the effectiveness of the combat work of formations, units, and subdivisions. Among the identified tasks are improving the interaction of troops, improving logistics, and evacuating the wounded.
