IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi appealed to Ukraine and russia to "show political will" necessary to guarantee security around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant captured by the russians and to restore the connection of the external power supply line.
This was reported by the official IAEA portal.
According to the European official, both sides have declared their readiness to carry out repair work on their part, but for this it is necessary to improve the security situation on the site so that technicians can carry out critical work without endangering lives.
"This is a question of political will, not technical capabilities - they exist," Grossi emphasized.
