On the night of October 3, the aggressor country russia carried out the largest attack on Ukraine's gas production infrastructure since the beginning of the full-scale war. The press service of Naftogaz reported this on Friday, October 3.
Russian occupants used 35 missiles, most of them ballistic missiles, and 60 drones to attack Naftogaz facilities in the Kharkiv and Poltava Regions. Some of the enemy targets were shot down, but hits were recorded.
"Targeted terror against civilian facilities that ensure the production and preparation of gas used to ensure normal life. It makes no military sense. It is yet another manifestation of Russian meanness aimed solely at disrupting the heating season and depriving us of the ability to heat Ukrainian homes in winter. As a result of this attack, a significant number of our facilities have been damaged. Some of the damage is critical," said Serhii Koretskyi, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
Naftogaz specialists, the State Emergency Service and other emergency services continue to work on the ground.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine said that on the night of October 3, the army of the aggressor state of russia massively attacked the energy infrastructure of Ukraine in several regions, in particular gas transmission infrastructure facilities.
On the night of October 3, the enemy conducted a massive combined attack in the Poltava Region using missiles and UAVs.
