Consumers in several regions are without power in the morning due to enemy shelling. The most difficult situation is in the Sumy and Chernihiv Regions. The press service of Ukrenergo has reported this on Telegram.

"The most difficult situation remains in the Sumy and Chernihiv Regions, where the damage to power facilities is the most significant. Emergency repair works are ongoing. Power engineers are doing everything possible to supply power to all consumers as soon as possible and cancel the hourly outage schedules that Chernihivoblenergo had to introduce," the statement said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 2, due to the deterioration of the situation in the power system, tougher schedules of hourly power outages were introduced in the Chernihiv Region.

On the morning of October 2, the town of Konotop, Sumy Region, was left without electricity and water due to air attacks by the russian army.
