Critical infrastructure repaired and water supply restored in Slavutych - Regional Military Administration

After a large-scale russian attack on the energy sector, the critical infrastructure of Slavutych, Kyiv Region, has been powered up and water supply has been restored. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk in Telegram.

It is reported that the city is currently working to restore power supply after yesterday's enemy attack.

"Critical infrastructure facilities, schools, shops, pharmacies, banks, gas stations have been powered. Water supply in the city has been stable since the evening. In general, most residential consumers are still without power. Work is underway to launch cogeneration units," Kalashnyk said.

It is noted that 10 stationary points of invincibility and mobile tents of the State Emergency Service continue to operate in the city, and an emergency reserve of generators, fuel and water has been formed.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the morning of October 2, the town of Konotop, Sumy Region, was left without electricity and water due to air attacks by the army of the aggressor state of russia.

On October 1, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported that a strike on a power substation in Slavutych resulted in a complete blackout of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the blackout at the former Chornobyl nuclear power plant, which occurred due to a russian strike on one of our power substations in Slavutych, lasted more than three hours.
