As of September 30, 2025, Ukrainian farmers sowed 2.515 million hectares with winter crops.
This is stated in a message of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The message states that winter grain crops are already being sown in all regions of Ukraine.
In particular, the following were sown: winter wheat - 1,438,800 hectares; winter barley – 97,200 hectares; winter rye – 37,900 hectares and winter rapeseed – 941,100 hectares.
Among the leaders in grain crops, the Poltava, Kirovohrad and Mykolaiv Regions are among the leaders.
Winter rapeseed was sown most in the Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and Mykolaiv Regions.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as of September 23, 2025, agricultural enterprises sowed 11.1% less winter crops compared to last year (September 25, 2024, 1.807 million hectares), - 1.6 million hectares.
