Today, on September 30, in the center of Konotop, Sumy Region, a man was wounded in the stomach by a bullet from Ukraine's air defense system. He was taken to the hospital.
The mayor of the city Artem Semenikhin has reported this on Telegram.
"A 79-year-old man was wounded in the center with a bullet in the stomach. An air defense bullet!" the message says.
He informed that the wounded man was taken to the hospital and is undergoing urgent surgery.
"So do not stay near the windows and on the street while the guys are working!" the mayor called on the citizens.
It should be noted that since the morning of September 30, the army of the aggressor state of russia has been attacking Konotop with drones. Mayor Semenikhin reported on the movement of drones and explosions in the city, and also called for charging electrical devices and making supplies.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, on the night of September 30, the army of the aggressor state of russia carried out another attack on the Sumy Region, attacking a house in a village with a drone. A whole family was killed - a couple and their two sons, aged 6 and 4.
