On Sunday, September 28, an earthquake measuring 3 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Lviv Region. This was reported by the Main Center for Special Control.
"On September 28, 2025, the Main Center for Special Control registered an earthquake in the area of the city of Stryi, Stryi district, Lviv Region, with a magnitude of 3.0 (on the Richter scale), at a depth of 4 km. According to the classification of earthquakes, it is considered weak," the message says.

The center also provides a map showing the location of the earthquake.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of May 17, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 also occurred in Romania in the Vrancea seismic zone. The earthquake's echoes were also heard in the south of the Odesa Region, as well as in Moldova and Bulgaria.
Before that, as Ukrainian News Agency reported, residents of the Odesa Region felt an earthquake on May 11, also with a magnitude of 4.2.
