Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán published an appeal to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on X (Twitter).
"Hungary is a member of NATO and the EU. Ukraine would have collapsed long ago without the support of these two organisations. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with all due respect, stop harassing us!!" Orbán wrote.

The post did not contain any clarifications, but the day before, the Hungarian Prime Minister reacted sharply to Zelenskyy's words about the Druzhba oil pipeline. He called them "blackmail and threats" and stated that this "will have long-term consequences".
Earlier, Zelenskyy, after a report by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, instructed to check information about the possible entry of drones, probably Hungarian, into Ukrainian airspace, which could be used for reconnaissance.
As previously reported, on August 24, the President of Ukraine, commenting on the strikes on the Druzhba oil pipeline, which supplies oil to Hungary, hinted that they were, among other things, related to the position of Budapest, which is blocking decisions within the framework of preparations for Ukraine's accession to the EU.
The attacks on the russian oil pipeline have drawn criticism from the authorities of Hungary and Slovakia.
