92 russian drones flew to Poland, most were shot down by Ukraine – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that on the night of September 10, russia sent 92 drones towards Poland, most of which were destroyed by Ukrainian forces while still in our airspace.

He stated this during a briefing.

Zelenskyy stressed that the kremlin is trying to check how ready Europe is to respond to its hybrid attacks.

"Using the example of one Polish case. 92 drones flew to Poland. We shot down all of them. 19 reached them. Yes, we shot them down over the territory of Ukraine, of course. You can say that they flew to us, but we see the direction and, as they say, the choreography of this flight. Therefore, we believe that 92 were flying. We shot down all of them. 19, we believe, reached them. Four were shot down by the Poles," Zelenskyy said.

He also noted that it is not worth directly comparing the Ukrainian and Polish armies, since "we are at war, they are not at war."

Ukraine, according to the President, is ready to share its own experience in combating russian drones with other states. "We have given signals to some countries... We will send our people to some countries... And representatives of some countries will be in Ukraine," he added.

Zelenskyy also listed the countries in whose airspace unknown drones have already been spotted, and suggested that in this way moscow is testing the reaction of the societies of these states.

"You see Norway, Denmark. There are signals, I think they were from Sweden in the morning. There is Romania, the Poles, the Baltic states. He is checking what the Europeans have. And secondly, I am sure that he (Putin) is giving signals before winter so that the countries that are very close to Ukraine can feel what is going on with society, how much they are ready to continue to support," the President noted.

Recall, Zelenskyy instructed the military to "respond accordingly" to drones from Hungary.
