Strazhesko Cardiology Institute in Kyiv continues work after hostile attack – Ministry of Health

Due to a massive russian missile and drone attack on the night of September 28, the building of the Academician M. D. Strazhesko Cardiology Institute in Kyiv was damaged, but continues to work despite this. The Ministry of Health reported this on Facebook.

Thus, the Ministry of Health reports that two people were killed at the Academician M. D. Strazhesko Cardiology Institute in Kyiv.

"More than 40 injured and four killed, including children. These are the terrible consequences of another Russian attack on Ukraine. Terror, shelling of residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, in particular, and medical institutions continue. Among the russian targets tonight is the Academician M. D. Strazhesko Cardiology Institute in Kyiv. Two people were killed here," the message says.

It is currently known that the building was damaged at the level of 3-5 floors, and despite the attack, the institution continues to operate. All services are working on the site, the investigation and assessment of damage are ongoing.

We remind you that the death toll in Kyiv has increased to 4. Two of the victims were found at the Institute of Cardiology named after Academician M. D. Strazhesko of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, which is located in the Solomianskyi District. The body of a 12-year-old girl from a five-story building was also unblocked in this area.

More than 1,500 rescuers and police officers in 11 regions are engaged in eliminating the consequences of the massive shelling by the russian federation.
