The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike by the Ukrainian military on the Iskander operational-tactical missile complexes of the russian occupation army, information about which appeared on the network the day before.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on September 26.
The strike on the hangars where the russian equipment, including the Iskander complexes, was located was carried out on August 9 by servicemen of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The equipment of the 448th missile brigade of the russian armed forces was under the attack of the Ukrainian military. It was hidden on the territory of a former poultry farm in one of the districts of the Kursk Oblast.
As a result of the strike, the following equipment of the occupants was destroyed and damaged:
- 5 destroyed 9T250 transport-loading vehicles;
- 1 destroyed Iskander launcher;
- 1 damaged Pantsir-S1 air defense system, which provided cover for the facility.
In addition, warehouses were destroyed and several units of automotive equipment were destroyed.
Recall that on September 23, the anonymous Telegram channel "Spy's Dossier" published photos of destroyed equipment from the Iskander OTRK warehouse (one of these photos was used by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the message).
The channel, however, stated that russian equipment was hit at the Molkino training ground in the Krasnodar Krai on the 20th of August.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 5 of this year, the Ukrainian military struck the location of the russian Army's missile forces unit in the Bryansk Oblast. Then one Iskander launcher was destroyed, and two more were damaged.
