Russian propagandist Margarita Simonyan's husband, Tigran Keosayan, died

On the night of September 26, the husband of russian propagandist Margarita Simonyan, a famous director and producer, Tigran Keosayan, died in Moscow. Simonyan reported this on her Telegram channel.

"Tonight, Tigran went to the Creator," the russian propagandist wrote.

Keosayan was known for his Ukrainophobic, sexist, racist, and chauvinistic statements and propaganda. In 2022, after the start of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, he stated that the residents of the occupied territories should thank the invaders for "returning them to russia." In recent years, the European Union, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Canada, and a number of other countries have imposed personal sanctions against Keosayan.

As previously reported, in December 2024, Tigran Keosayan was hospitalized in extremely serious condition, experienced clinical death and spent nine months in a coma.
