Ukrzaliznytsia agrees to increase size of bonuses, to whom and by how much

After several months of negotiations with employees, JSC Ukrzaliznytsia will increase the size of the maximum bonus for locomotive crews.

This is announced by Rail.insider with reference to information from the Trade Union of Railway Workers and Transport Builders of Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The report states that in September, locomotive crews of Ukrzaliznytsia (including driver-instructors) will receive a bonus for the performance of certain performance indicators in the amount of at least 30%.

Previously, the maximum bonus was limited to 15%.

It is noted that this decision was the result of several months of negotiations between specialists in the economic direction of the apparatus of the Trade Union Council and the head of the United Trade Union Organization branch Locomotive Company A. Kuleshov with the management of the branch and specialized departments of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.

Every month, Ukrzaliznytsia will additionally allocate approximately UAH 25 million for these needs.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 25, the Security Service conducted a series of court-sanctioned searches in criminal proceedings regarding abuses in the field of freight transportation at Ukrzaliznytsia.

According to the Opendatabot service, Ukrzaliznytsia ended 2024 with a loss of UAH 4.2 billion, but this did not prevent Serhii Leshchenko, a member of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia joint stock company, from receiving a salary of almost UAH 3 million last year.
