US President Donald Trump in his recent post made it clear that Washington is transferring responsibility for ending the war in Ukraine to Europe.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reported this on X (Twitter).
"Behind this strange optimism is the announcement of a smaller US participation and the transfer of responsibility for ending the war to Europe," Tusk wrote.
The head of the Polish government commented on his post with the words "Better truth than illusions."

Last Tuesday, September 23, Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social that Ukraine is capable of restoring its entire territory. According to him, this can happen with the support of the European Union and NATO.
At the same time, the American leader stated that the United States is ready to continue selling weapons to European allies for further transfer to Ukraine.
Yesterday, September 24, Reuters wrote, citing its own sources, that Trump hinted in his post that the United States was going to distance itself as much as possible from the war in Ukraine and transfer responsibility for ending it to Europe.
