According to the General Staff, as of the morning of September 25, since the beginning of the full-scale war, russia has already lost 428 aircraft.
Where are An-26 aircraft used
The An-26 is a Soviet-made multi-purpose turboprop transport aircraft, known by NATO codification as "Curl" and popularly as "Nastya". It is capable of transporting cargo, paratroopers and the wounded, has good take-off and landing characteristics and can operate on dirt, sandy and snowy airfields. In combat operations, the An-26 is used for: transporting troops and cargo, landing personnel and equipment, evacuating the wounded, electronic reconnaissance and relaying communications.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian military shot down a russian front-line fighter-bomber Su-34 in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
