As a result of russian shelling in the Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad Regions, some railway sections were powerless.
The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia has reported this on Telegram.
In this regard, passengers and crews of trains No. 54/254 Odesa - Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and No. 8/7 Odesa - Kharkiv are in shelters. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
Trains No. 51/52 Zaporizhzhia - Odesa and No. 148/147 Kyiv - Odesa will soon also run on this route. Due to the situation, delays in movement are possible.
Railway workers are sending reserve diesel locomotives to the powerless sections and assessing the extent of damage after the shelling is over. Ukrzaliznytsia assured that all passengers will be delivered to their destinations.
Recall that the russian military-industrial complex has increased the production of long-range drones and can now strike not only strategic targets, but also individual locomotives. Dozens of substations and railway junctions, including Lozova, Synelnykove, and Koziatyn, were hit.
