Russian terrorist forces have carried out a combined strike on the territory of one of the training units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There are casualties among the personnel. This is announced in the statement of the press service of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Wednesday, September 24.
Among other means, russia used two Iskander ballistic missiles for strikes and hit the shelter on the territory of one of the training units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"As a result of the precise hit on the shelter, despite the security measures taken, unfortunately, it was not possible to completely avoid losses among the personnel. The relevant emergency services are working on the spot. The wounded are promptly provided with all necessary medical assistance," the statement said.
The Ground Forces noted that work on equipping training centers, training grounds and other military facilities with reliable shelters is constantly ongoing. Additional security measures are also being taken to protect servicemen.
