On the night of Wednesday, September 24, the military of the aggressor country of russia attacked Kharkiv with 18 kamikaze drones. This was reported by the mayor Ihor Terekhov in his Telegram channel.
According to the mayor, the main blow of the enemy fell on an energy infrastructure facility, which affected the supply of electricity to the city's residents. In addition, residential buildings, shops and several cars were damaged as a result of the attack. There were no casualties among the people.
"Specialists from KharkivOblenergo and city utilities are currently working on eliminating the consequences. We are doing everything possible to restore electricity and help people as soon as possible," Terekhov noted.
He added that in general, the situation with the supply of water to the homes of Kharkiv residents was maintained, but in some places, in a few places, due to a lack of electricity, there may be no hot water. Specialists of KhTM are already working on solving these problems.
"Due to the enemy attack on the energy facility, there are certain problems with the movement of ground electric transport in parts of the Kholodnohirskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts. But to replace trams and trolleybuses, compensatory buses have already started running on their routes," the mayor said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 15, Terekhov said that for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Kharkiv had not been subjected to any shelling for 7 days.
