The Budapest Memorandum failed, so Ukraine and partners are "building a new security architecture." This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine.
"The Budapest Memorandum, designed to guarantee Ukraine's security in exchange for abandoning nuclear weapons, failed. It proved that international promises can turn into empty words. That is why today, together with Great Britain, France, and already more than 30 countries in our Coalition of the Willing, we are building a new security architecture. We are counting on the reliable support of the United States," Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized that real security guarantees should become a line that the aggressor country of russia will not be able to cross again.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a meeting of the UN Security Council called on countries to act by force to stop the war of the aggressor country of russia against Ukraine. He is convinced that for this to happen, dictator vladimir putin must be deprived of the ability to wage war in the sky.
Also, the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, stated that Ukraine is capable of reconquering its own territories, since the aggressor country, russia, already has serious economic problems and a fuel crisis.
