In the Chernihiv Region, the russian federation carried out a drone attack on civilian infrastructure, infrastructure facilities were hit, and several communities were left without electricity. The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, has reported this.
"The enemy continues to strike at civilian infrastructure. This night, enemy drones in a village of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District damaged the buildings of a non-working enterprise, a culture house, several shops, a police station, a village headman's office, and also an ordinary residential building," he noted.
It is also reported that in Chernihiv and the Chernihiv District, the enemy was hunting for infrastructure facilities.
"Unfortunately, there is damage, which is why there are power outages in some communities of the district. 25 settlements in three districts are under attack by the aggressor," he said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the number of russian air attacks, including strike and FPV drones, has increased in the Chernihiv Region.
On the afternoon of September 4, Bryzhynskyi said that in the Chernihiv Region, during an air alert, a ballistic missile hit was recorded near a checkpoint at the entrance to the city near the settlement of Novoselivka. Later, it became known that the russian federation launched a missile strike on the employees of the demining mission in the Chernihiv Region.
