On the night of September 23, russian troops launched an airstrike on Zaporizhzhia, using six high-explosive aerial bombs. Civilian infrastructure and residential buildings were hit.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov has reported this on Telegram.
"For the second night in a row, the Russians are massively attacking Zaporizhzhia. Civilian infrastructure and people's housing were hit. Previously, the enemy launched six strikes on the city at night with FABs," he said.
As a result of the attack, fires broke out in the private sector and on the territory of industrial facilities.
The State Emergency Service reported that a person could have remained under the rubble of a destroyed building. Later, rescuers retrieved the body of a dead man. The number of victims is being specified.
This is the second massive attack on the city in the past two days. The morning before, on September 22, russian troops dropped 10 guided bombs on Zaporizhzhia: three people were killed, four more were injured.


As a reminder, the russian occupation army advanced near two settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia Regions.
Meanwhile, the russian occupiers struck the Sumy community, there is destruction at enterprises in the region and an educational institution.
